CARBON CHECK PROGRAM
Carbon Check Program (CCP) is a voluntary program on AFOLU development and management. CCP delivers rules, requirements and methodology for projects focusing on GHG absorption,reduction or removal in agriculture or forestry practices.
All projects go under a strict development and assessment process, prior to the project being registered in GCACH. Carbon Tokens(CT’s) are issued to the registered project. Each CT represents one tone of carbon dioxide being absorbed,removed or reduced from the environment.
Each registered project can attach the GCACH and sustainable standard certificate provided by GCACH to deliver the community and environment benefits by project to stakeholders and audience.

- Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR)
- Agricultural Land Management (ALM)
- Improved Forest Management (IFM)
- Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) - Upcoming
- Avoided Conversion of Grasslands and Shrublands (ACoGS)
- Wetlands Restoration and Conservation (WRC) - Upcoming
- Project Proponent/ Developer requests to register the project by submitting documents using a registered account.
- GCACH reviews documents submitted by PP.
- Once a project has been approved, GCACH adds the project into PP's account as an under development project.
- Project Proponent/Developer submits required documents to VVB's for independent third party auditing.
- Verification and Validation Bodies issues issues validation and verification report to PP's after performing verification and validation process.
- Project Proponent/ Developer later sends the documents including the documents provided by VVB's for further assessment by GCACH.
- GCACH registers the project, and sends documents to PP for issuing the credits and later lists the project.
